Pyrography outfits are now being manufactured by the well respected Robert Sorby tool company in Sheffield. The Peter Child machine will be available in most countries from any Robert Sorby stockist. In UK the main distributer and retailer is Turners Retreat in Harworth (Craft Supplies). Machines, spares, and service will continue to be available from them.

We were a small family firm founded by the late Peter Child. For over 40 years we have specialised in helping woodturners enjoy their hobby. We pride ourselves on the quality of advice freely given to all turners - especially beginners, and hope to continue by adding to this website.
