This sticky chuck disc is 44mm (1,3/4 inch) aluminium, recessed at the rear with a dovetail to fit onto the 25mm jaws of the Patriot or the Supernova or G3chucks. You get one disc plus a roll of glue film plus instructions. The photo shows two discs to illustrate front and back.

It will not fit the standard 50mm jaws - you have to use the 25mm jaws or the pin jaws. 25mm jaws come included with the G3 chuck but are extras on the Patriot and the Supernova however they have sometimes been included with the Supernova as a special offer in the past.
It is ideal for small projects. Here it is shown holding a large chess piece. Chess pieces and similar projects can be gripped firmly. As there is zero wastage it is more viable to use precious materials.

To use it, it is heated on a small hotplate or with a soldering iron and a small amount of hot melt glue applied on the face. It is then placed on the wood. When cold you can commence turning. When the project is finished the disc is reheated and pulled off leaving no recess or screw marks. Surplus glue can be scraped off or removed with white spirit.
